"It is better that one man perish then....?

I think when people say it didn't need to happen... The whole reasoning behind the war was basically the "crusade" GWB went on to avenge 9/11.... There were supposedly weapons of m destruction there and none were ever found... War is a MAJOR issue than isn't to be taken lightly. When congress approved the war they were under the impression that there were weapons of m destruction and so were the american people... At this point in time the war is senseless in my opinion, saddam is dead. The country is engaged in a civil war now, and will continue to until another stronghand comes about in my opinion... Yes Saddam was a bad man, but this "war" wasn't to capture Saddam for the genocide he has committed. It was to rid the country of so called weapons of m destruction. Thousands of american men have shed blood on that soil, The country is in a recession and may be heading into a depression if things dont improve. Millions of americans are losing their jobs, and more and more families are living in poverty. This war is not only draining the nation, it's draining the world. What is the goal in Iraq right now? To police the country? Militants filled the country AFTER we invaded.. So if you look at the situation globally... More people are now living in worse conditions due to this meaningless war.
