I have Acid Reflux what can i do to make it go away?

i cant go to the gastroentologist until aug. 12 i just want to be able to reduce my acid reflux until then. My throat feels congested like theres mucus in there and i have a tough time getting deep breaths. this has been happening for a few weeks. Thanks
