Should the driving age be raised to 18?

One possible argument for raising the age for driving might be the idea that youthful drivers have more accidents. The problem with that is that youthful drivers are less experienced at driving. If they start out driving at 16, they have two years of experience when they reach 18. Starting out at 18 with no experience simply shifts the age group up two years but does not eliminate the time needed to gain experience for driving safely,
