Why Syria has such an unusually young poulation?

Traditionaly, Arab families are comprised of many children, averaging about four children for every two parents. This combined with the optomism that took place in Syria after the French occupational force was thrown out, resulted in a mive jump in the birth rate. In addition, Syria is a haven of stability for the Middle East. Whenever a crisis breaks out, it is common for refugees to flee to Syria, also increasingly the numbers of children and youths.
