How do i get a tick off my dogs eye?

Ok my 6 month old great pyrenees, shepherd, and saint bernard mix puppy Edgar has a tick on his eye lid. I'm scared to pull it off cuz i don't want to hurt him. My mom tried to get it off but he squirmed to much. What's an easy way to get it off so i won't stab his eye or anything? >.> He's over 60 pounds so i can't really hold him down well...
